Regional Manufacturing Institute of Maryland (RMI) and Maryland Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MD MEP) are excited to kick off National Manufacturing Month on Friday, October 6th! We have invited Maryland Governor Larry Hogan to be with us on this important occasion to raise the profile of our industry.
Join us as Maryland manufacturers showcase and exhibit their cutting-edge technologies and products, along with the State’s most innovative collegiate student teams as they display their passions for robotics and automation, software engineering, cyber security, 3D printing and more!
The purpose of Manufacturing Day is to celebrate modern manufacturing and inspire the next generation of manufacturers. Maryland Manufacturing Day 2017 is meant to bring together students from local university and college technology driven teams and match them with local, advanced manufacturing companies.
It is an exciting time to be part of the Maryland manufacturing industry. As Maryland continues to attract new technology driven companies, there is an increasing demand for highly skilled professionals in the manufacturing sector who can design, program and operate technology. Educating the next generation of workers about the endless possibilities that a career in manufacturing can offer is vital to the continued success of Maryland manufacturing for year to come.
We hope that you are able join with us on October 6th and help celebrate the future of Maryland manufacturing!
